Tuscan Inspired
Single-Story House: 3168 Bel Air
Drive
Built in 1996, this single-story luxury house is among
custom luxury houses that were built in the late 1990's on the
block. The high cathedral ceilings with an open architecture
and arched walkways resemble a Tuscan feel. Many arciform
cutouts with granite as the sill can be found throughout the
home. The living areas are limitedly walled allowing for an
unconfined flow. The ample kitchen with granite countertops, an
island with a bar sink, and custom cabinetry, completely opens
to the family room and a wow bar. Wow because it's
gorgeous.

Wow can also be said about the dining and living rooms
divided by a fireplace wall with lights. Or maybe wow should
instead be said about the garage, which has individual wide
doors for three large vehicles and additional storage. Or wow
could be said when you see the backyard where the beach entry
pool with spa await. Yet probably the best wow is the whole
architecture. It brilliantly flows to maximize usability. For
example, a large office with affixed cabinetry is located next
to the front door, to easily greet business guests. All four
bedrooms have their own full bath, and one of those bedrooms is
away from the others, should you have a live-in helper or
guests who desire privacy. The laundry room is placed next to
the garage to limit noise. And then there are those French
doors, three of them, opening to the massive backyard
porch.
The master is commodious with double door entry, a gas
fireplace that can be viewed from both bedroom and bath, and a
roomy walk-in closet with custom shelves. The master bath
includes a spa surrounded by windows that look out to the pool
and greenery, separate marble shower, two sinks set in granite,
marble floors, and of course what no master bathroom should be
without, especially one with such a lavish spa: a beverage
refrigerator.

This luxury house has intelligently planned 4300 sqft of
single-story architecture on a well proportioned quarter acre
golf course lot and priced at $1,699,000, much less per
square-foot than many of the Las Vegas high-rise luxury
condos.
